Lucy Gans
Lucy Gans received her MFA from the Pratt Institute, studying sculpture and drawing. Developing her work over the years through SAI classes, Lucy returned to WSW as a Workspace Resident in the etching studio. Her work gives voice to women’s stories of abuse, violence, and aging through layering text and image. She currently holds the Louis and Jane P. Weinstock Chair in Art and Architecture and is the Chair of the Department of Art, Architecture, and Design at Lehigh University, where she’s been teaching for over thirty years.
