Laura Casas grew up in Columbia, North Carolina. She received her bachelors in studio art from Western Carolina University in 2018 where she focused on ceramics. Much of her inspiration is gathered from personal experiences and her background in printmaking. Her work has been exhibited in places such as the Asheville Art Museum’s Pop-Up gallery Museum on the Slope and Tamarindo Guayaba in Pachuca, Mexico City, Mexico.
