Kathleen Thum
Kathleen Thum’s abstract work references the intern body: nerves, cells, and veins that are clustered and layered amongst each other. She came to WSW to work in our etching studio shortly after earning her MFA from Bowling Green State University; her focus in our studio was on layering color, imagery, and opacity in her prints. Kathleen now works in paintings, prints, and large-scale wall drawings. She is Assistant Professor, Drawing, at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina.
