Darina Peeva has worked as an artist-in-residence extensively in Europe, but her residency at WSW was her first experience in the U.S. She is a full-time printmaker and exhibits regularly in Austria. She worked exclusively in the intaglio studio on a series of photo-based images that function as memoir and include disparate manifestations of identity and self. The prints she made at WSW have been included in several exhibitions across Europe.
