Danae Lagoy is a Catskills based artist and metalworker currently at residence at Highly Authorized in Ellenville, NY. She is a trained papermaker, printmaker and architectural metal fabricator. Much of her work is a labor of repetition, conjuring an exploration of form, spatiality, and landscape. She received a BFA from The Cooper Union and has since taught at Penland School of Crafts, Dieu Donne, and Beam Camp. Her work has been featured by Architectural Digest, The Brooklyn Museum, Supercheif Gallery LA, Flux Factory, Fitness Center for Arts and Tactics, The Hudson Guild Gallery, & the Dark Chart House of Production.
