CJ Mace came to WSW as a studio intern with a background in women’s studies and an interest in radical women’s spaces. She spent years after college independently studying printmaking and book arts at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts and the Highpoint Center for Printmaking. Since her internship she has earned an MFA in Interdisciplinary Book and Paper from Columbia College and her work has grown to include immersive, multimedia installations that viewer’s “play” through touch, sight, sound, and presence. She lives and works in Chicago.
