April Katz

April Katz received a WSW production grant to produce her artist’s book Marking Time: Her Days, which is based on 15 years of her mother’s daybook entries.

April holds an MFA from Arizona State University. She is the former president of the Southern Graphics Council and her print work has been exhibited extensively across the US. She lives in Iowa, where she is Morrill Professor of Art at Iowa State University. In 2007, April was Printmaking Resident at Centre Frans Masereel in Kasterlee, Belgium.
