April Katz

April Katz received a WSW production grant to produce her artist’s book Marking Time: Her Days, which is based on 15 years of her mother’s daybook entries. Katz holds an MFA from Arizona State University and is the former president of the Southern Graphics Council. She is Morrill Professor Emeritus at Iowa State University, where she organized the Annual International Postcard Print Exchange and taught for 20 years. From 2004–2006 she was president of the Southern Graphics Council.

Katz’s prints have been exhibited throughout the US and are in numerous collections, including the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, Missouri; Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University; and the Corcoran Gallery, Washington, D.C.
