Anya Belyat Giunta was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and lived in Austria, Italy, and the US before settling in France. She earned her BFA at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and has studied printmaking extensively across France. She came to WSW as a Fellowship Grant recipient (now Workspace Residency) to work in our etching studio. She currently lives and works in Lyons.
