Anne Richter came to WSW from New York City to work in our etching studio on projects relating to the experiences of women, such as menopause, turning 50, and domestic living.

That was quite long ago. Currently, in 2016, Anne is celebrating her 75th birthday with the “Shikishi Project.” She is making seventy-five 10″ x 10″ paintings this year, three of which are represented below.

Anne holds an MFA in printmaking from the Tyler School of Art.
