Ann Lovett’s practice incorporates photography, encaustic, and artists’ books. WSW awarded Ann an Artist’s Book Production Grant for Relation, a sculptural book of interlocking, shifting texts. Ann holds an MFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. Her work has been collected and exhibited nationally and internationally, and has been recognized by a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Photography, a New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Grant, and the New York State Council on the Arts Individual Artists Program. She lives in the Hudson Valley, where she is a Professor of Art at the State University of New York at New Paltz.
