Akiko Sakaizumi is a Japanese-born new media artist. She came to WSW to produce Female Sampler which comments on the merchandizing of the female body. Akiko holds an MFA in mixed media digital arts from the University of Pennsylvania. Her recent work uses the framework of classic arcade video games in the context of social and gender critique.
