Abigail Bainbridge (née Uhteg) is a UK-based artist and a book and paper conservator who came to WSW as an Artist’s Book Resident to create The Complex of All of These. She earned an MA in Conservation Studies from West Dean College after studying art history and printmaking at MICA. Abigail teaches conservation science in the MA program in book and paper conservation at Camberwell College of Arts and teaches conservation at West Dean College. Since her residency she has returned to WSW to teach letterpress and bookbinding for our Summer Art Institute.
