Lora Shelley is primarily a painter and printmaker with a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in Illustration. With RISD’s European Honors Program, Lora spent a year abroad studying in Rome, Italy. Lora’s work can be found in private collections across the U.S. and abroad, as far as Africa, Australia and France.

Lora heard the siren call of clay 16 years ago and has incorporated it into her practice along with painting and printmaking. Working in ceramics has offered Lora the opportunity to move into the third dimension as she uses her unique eye to bring her 2D characters to life.
