Kelly McGrath
Kelly McGrath is the Director of Education at R&F by day and sculptor by night. She is excited to help other artists explore encaustic as a dynamic material for 3D applications. As an arts educator she has been invited to present and teach at the International Encaustic Conference, the Loomis Chaffee School, and Women’s Studio Workshop. An emerging artist, her work was featured in the 2009 Kingston Sculpture Biennial, and she has completed several mural commissions. Kelly enjoys working with other artists to creatively problem solve, presenting group workshops and private instruction geared toward combining Encaustic and Pigment Sticks with sculptural methods. She earned her BFA in Sculpture from SUNY New Paltz in 2007, and has been with R&F since 2009. Her experiences include an internship at Women’s Studio Workshop, and work as a studio assistant for a number of artists in and around the Hudson Valley.
