Deirdre has been making pots for more than 30 years. Because of a terribly low attention span, she has explored virtually every type, process, and technique of pottery making: low fire, high fire, salt fire, soda fire, wood fire, raku…the list goes on. Her current passion is firing pottery in pits, although she also fires in barrels, old barbecue grills, buckets and chimeneas.
