Dani Restack is an Assistant Professor of Drawing at The Ohio State University. In 2003 she received an MFA in studio arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago and in 2009 a MFA in film/video from Bard College. She has screened her single-channel videos at the Rotterdam International Film Festival, Gene Sickle Film Center, PS1, Cine Cycle, Chicago Underground Film Festival, Union Docs, VIEWS of the Avanti Guard and Anthology Film Archives. Restack has been the recipient of the Werner Center Film/Video Residency, the Kazuko Award and the Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice Visual Arts Grant. Her drawings and videos are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
