Born and raised in Pakistan, Simeen Ishaque Farhat moved to the US in 1992. At WSW, she worked in our ceramics studio, applying photographic, silkscreened images onto clay to create a modular installation. Simeen creates large, sculptural installations based on indecipherable letterforms. She holds an MFA from Texas Christian University, and she has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. She currently lives and works in Texas.
