Regina Vater
Regina Vater is a Brazilian-born American visual artist and curator celebrated for introducing Brazilian art to an international audience. During a Studio Residency at WSW, she created a large-scale installation inside the Binnewater Art Center. Regina’s work is represented in major international collections. She has lectured and exhibited worldwide, including at the 1967 Paris Biennial, the 1976 Venice Biennale, and the 1981 Sao Paulo Biennial. A recipient of the prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship, Regina holds a BA in Architecture from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She lives and works in Austin, TX.
