Paula Lycan grew up in in sunny California and just received her bachelor’s degree in Art from UC Santa Cruz. Her photographic works explore femininity and the temporal nature of human emotions. She often uses alterative processes and her own home brew of light sensitive emulations to create photobased works.  Whens she’s not in the studio she’s often exploring with her camera in hand, in the kitchen cooking up a storm, or drinking a cup of Joe and studying alternative photographic processes.
