Patty Wouters is a Flemish ceramicist who has developed firing techniques and ways of working with thin porcelain, paper clay, and flax clay. At WSW, she continued to experiment with these approaches to creating vessels based on ancient, excavated pots. She studied at art schools in Antwerp and Hasselt, Belgium before developing her practice, in 1987 she founded Atelier Cirkel (now Cirkel 2), an arts origination that offers workshops and master classes. Patty lives and works in Belgium.
