Yoko Sekino-Bove was born in Osaka, Japan and worked as a graphic designer before discovering ceramics in the US. She went on to earn an MFA at the University of Oklahoma. At WSW, Yoko experimented with new forms and glazes while developing a cohesive, reproducible line of functional pots. Yoko conducts lectures and workshops at universities and craft schools. She lives and works in Washington, PA.
