Seungean Cha

A Korean artist, Seungean Cha came to WSW from Chicago to work in our silkscreen studio. Having worked with fibers for 14 years, Seungean moved to the US to study drawing and painting. She used her residency to experiment with methods of combining drawing, sewing, and screenprinting. She holds MFA degrees from the Hongik University Graduate School of Industrial Arts in Seoul, Korea and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Seungean lives and works in Korea.
