Sarah Gross

With a background in ceramics, Sarah Gross came to WSW from Minnesota to be a summer intern. Since her internship, Sarah has gone on to earn her MFA at Rhode Island School of Design and her teaching certificate from Brown University. Sarah now builds screen-like architectural walls and enclosures that draw from the institution of veiling in Islamic society. More recently, Sarah was the Uihlein Fellow in Studio Art at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. She is currently Assistant Professor of Visual Art at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.
