Rimma Gerlovina
Russian-born American artist Rimma Gerlovina is a conceptual artist working with photographs, text, and performance. She and Valeriy Gerlovin were involved in underground conceptual movements in Soviet Russia before coming to the US in 1980. Rimma was awarded a WSW production grant for Stalin Test, a silkscreened issue of their “Collective Farm” magazine. Their work has been exhibited and performed internationally and is represented in the collections of the Guggenheim, the J.Paul Getty Museum, and the International Center of Photography, among others.
