Quimetta Perle was awarded a WSW production grant for her artist’s book Demon Slayer, a contemporary fable about a woman beset by demons. Quimetta has since performed her book at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe. She holds an MFA from the School of Visual Art. Her work has been exhibited and performed internationally, and she has taught at Pratt Institute. When not practicing art, Quimetta runs an arts workshop program for people with mental disabilities in New York City.
