Kate Farrell
Kate Farrell is from Roanoke, Virginia. She recently headed north to live in various intentional communities, and is grateful to have joined the efforts of Haley House in Boston, the Good Shepherd Volunteers in NYC, and Camphill Village in Copake, NY. Her artistic work includes prints, books, drawings, and handmade paper. She is fascinated with the anthropological concept of liminality, the potent space or condition between definitions in which transformations can occur. She aims to create movement and fluidity between narrowness and openness in her images on paper. Kate graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia in 2014 with degrees in Studio Art and Religious Studies.
