Judith Hugentobler
Judith Hugentobler came to WSW to work in the ceramics studio creating life-size clay busts that incorporate casts of flora and fauna. Her ceramic work has been included in group exhibitions in Chelsea, Brooklyn with Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition (BWAC), the Albany area and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA.
Judith holds an MFA in sculpture from SUNY Albany. In addition to WSW, she has been an artist-in-residence at Byrdcliffe Art Colony, Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, I-Park in Connecticut and the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT.
Judith is currently Adjunct Professor of 2D and 3D Design in the Visual Merchandising Department of LIM College and has offered various ceramic workshops and tile making programs for the community at large.
