Jessica Scipione came to WSW as an art administration intern and ended up staying past her year-long term to assist with funding development. After leaving WSW, Jessica earned her MA in art administration from Drexel University and wrote her thesis on artist-run spaces in Philadelphia. She then worked at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia as Assistant Director of Development and Alumni Relations. Jess then transitioned to doing development work at Community Design Collaborative in Philadelphia, a community design center which provides pro bono design to community based nonprofits. In 2017, Jess has moved to work with Philadelphia Photo Arts Center.
