Chamindika Wanduragala

Chamindika Wanduragala is a Sri Lankan American visual artist, DJ (DJ Chamun), puppeteer, stop motion filmmaker and the founder and director of Monkeybear’s Harmolodic Workshop, an arts nonprofit that nurtures Native/POC in contemporary puppetry. Her artwork portrays her version of what writer/activist Audre Lorde referred to as biomythography: the intertwining of experience and history with personal mythology. Her work resides in a space between dream, reality and myth.
