Living and working in Ohio, Melissa Haviland has showed and performed her art throughout America since 1998, when she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Illinois School of Art. She also received a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2002. Her work straddles the boundaries between printmaking and installation performance, exploring lineage, ritual and practice.
