Melissa Harshman draws from an eclectic bank of imagery, including material found in cook books, at flea markets and in antique stores. She came to WSW to work in the silkscreen studio from collaged, layered imagery exploring childhood and identity. Melissa received her MFA from University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently an Associate Professor and Chair of the Printmaking Department at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia.
