Melinda Yale
Melinda Yale first came to WSW in 2007 for an Art in Education Workspace Residence in silkscreen. In 2008, she was awarded a grant to produce her artist’s book What Mom Says. Her projects use colorful and biomorphic forms to explore how we experience the tensions and anxieties of modern life.
Melinda earned her MFA at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her BA at Carleton College. She lives in New York City.
