After studying painting and printmaking in Florida, Mary Hood came to WSW as a studio intern. Since her internship, Mary has earned her MFA from the University of Dallas and cultivated a practice that includes book arts, printmaking, and installation. Her work, focusing on issues of time, space, and silence, has been exhibited across the US and abroad, including the International Print Triennial in Krakow, Poland, and the Guanlan Print Biennial in Shenzen, China. She is currently an associate professor at Arizona State University, Tempe.
