Marsha Klein
Marsha Klein came to WSW from Sonoma, CA to create a series of porcelain forms in the ceramic studio that she calls Exoskeletons. Marsha also worked on a similar body of work, Ribcage Shields, in the paper studio, using high-shrinkage pulp stretched over wire forms. Since returning to her home studio Marsha has been using the work in impromptu performances at public art spaces, addressing personal issues of abandonment and underrecognition, bringing attention to the issue of the lack of visibility for most artists.
