KyoungHwa Oh was born in Seoul, Korea. She creates ceramic objects that reflect both traditional Korean culture and contemporary western style. After coming the to US and beginning her formal study of ceramics, she earned an MFA from Southern Illinois University. She now lives and works in Colorado, where she teaches at Colorado MESA University.
