Karen Spears received a WSW Production Grant for her artist’s book Looking, a simple and clever book that explores the space created by boundaries drawn on each page. She holds an MFA from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. She has traveled, taught, and exhibited regionally, nationally, and in Europe. Her work is represented in numerous private and public collections. Karen currently lives in Lexington, KY, and is a professor of drawing and painting at Eastern Kentucky University.
