Judith Tong
Judith Tong is a painter, printmaker, builder, recreational cook, writer, gardener, scavenger, and a lot of other things. She grew up in Chicago but has spent her past few years in different locations across the midwest, east coast, and the south learning different skills. Her artistic practice is characterized by experimenting with textures and manipulating recognizable form into the unrecognizable. She is excited to learn new printmaking processes and to work with resident artists as a studio intern at WSW. Currently, she’s been thinking a lot about ocean currents and the movement of fluid, air, and energy through the human body.
