Jan Jahnke is a printmaker and mixed media artist who uses many layers of transparent and opaque inks to build up semi-abstract renderings of nature. Jan came to WSW to work in our silkscreen studio. She received her BFA in printmaking from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, where she also taught silkscreen for 10 years. She lives and works in Milwaukee.
