Erin Curry

Erin Curry is a sculptor and comic artist who arrived at WSW to learn traditional letterpress printing and soon adopted photopolymer intaglio as well. Her work centers around the Sublime, its historical connection to frontiers, and how it appears across the spectrum of arctic explorers, space travel, and information technology. In the studios, she experimented with textless letterpress printing, monoprints, and etching, drawing from what she describes as “the ever-expanding archive.”

Erin holds her MFA from the University of Florida and is currently based in Gainesville, FL.
