Deborah Beck
Deborah Beck is a Hudson Valley visual artist who came to work in WSW’s etching studio. Deborah has exhibited her work nationally. She is a member of a number of professional art organizations including National Association of Women Artists (NAWA), Women in the Arts Foundation (WIA Foundation), Katonah Museum Artist Association (KMAA), Peekskill Arts Alliance (PAA) and Arts Westchester and Lifetime Arts (teaching artist) on Artist Rosters.
Deborah holds a BA in fine art from Brandeis University and an MA in art education from New York University. She taught art in public schools for many years and continues to teach through workshops for children and adults. Her most recent workshop for adults, Adventures in Painting and Drawing, was given at the Pelham Bay Library in Pelham, NY. Deborah lives and works in Peekskill, NY.
