An award-winning Dallas-based artist, Bernice Montgomery works in painting, mixed media, murals and public art to create colorful ?urban narratives.” During her WSW fellowship (now Workspace Residency), she expanded her practice to include silkscreen. Bernice earned her BFA at North Texas State University and is a 1996 recipient of a Mid-America Arts Alliance/National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship. Her collaborative commissioned murals and public art can be seen at sites such as the Irving Arts Center, the Martin Luther King Center, and Mesquite Arts Center.
