Deus ex machina

Deus ex Machina works through visual and poetic mediums to tell an intimate story of urgency and nostalgia, the position of the lover relating to gender, and the aftermath of a drastic change. Latin for “god from the machine” – Deus ex Machina is presented through drawings, found photographs, text and poetry to examine the mysterious and layered nature of one’s personal history, and how that history itself can also be impersonal and universal.
