Participants will gain a working knowledge of preparing\, degreasing\, etching the plate along with the printing process itself. We will create multiple plates covering electro-line\, electro-tint\, open bite\, electro-graphite\, soft ground\, and electro-galvanizing with embossment. Experimenting with different resists\, we will also cover grounds including BIG and salt etching techniques. \nBy the end of the week\, participants will feel confident enough to set up an electro-etching tank in their own studio and continue their experimental electro-etching practice.
