Day & Time: Tuesdays, 7 – 9 p.m.
Dates: July 11 – August 15
Spend your summer in the ceramics studio with this six-week, all levels ceramics course. Group demonstrations during every class will allow students to have a hands-on experience, working in all avenues of clay. Each week, students will be introduced to a different ceramic process, including wheel throwing, slab building, tile work, surface decoration, and proper glazing technique. We encourage you to integrate your class knowledge into personal projects, as class time will include personal work time and one-on-one instructor assistance.
Pricing: $200 members/ $225 non-members. Tuition includes one bag of clay and firing fees. A non-refundable $100 is due upon registration. This class is currently filled. Please call (845) 658-9133 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about the class wait list.
Rachel Dubicki is a Hudson Valley native. In May of 2015, she received her BFA from Alfred University where she concentrated in ceramics, making functional tableware and using the wheel as her primary tool. After undergraduate, Rachel joined WSW as a Chili Bowl Workspace Resident. Since finishing, she has moved back to the area and is now an active member of the local art community and continuing her studio practice at Women’s Studio Workshop.
