DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Undine Brod\nClass Type: Five-week handbuilding class\nSkill Level: All levels\nTime: Thursdays\, 6:30 – 9:00 pm\nDates: May 23 – June 20 \nThis class will focus on learning and developing slab-building and modeling (reductive\, additive\, carving\, shaping\, etc.) techniques. Additionally\, we will dive into creating personal\, narrative works that tap into your voice and histories. The resulting works will consist of box forms with multiple removable elements. Depending on the forms you choose to create\, the works will be functional and/or sculptural. Come to class prepared with several photographs and images of someone and/or something you would like to honor by creating an effigy\, memorial\, or altar to said person(s) and/or thing(s). \n$250.00 members/$281.25 non-members. Tuition includes one bag of clay and firing fees. Registration is online only\, and is first come first serve.
