Ceramic Sampler with Cheyenne Mallo

Six-week throwing class for beginning and intermediary skill levels
Thursdays, 7–9pm, September 3 – October 8
This ceramics class will show students the basics of throwing and hone their pottery skills while creating functional vessels like plates, bowls, and cups. Group demonstrations tailored to the class’s specific needs and desires, as well as individualized work time and instruction, will provide a fun and relaxed environment. Develop your skills and creativity on the potter’s wheel.
$220 members / $245 non-members. Tuition includes one bag of clay and firing fees. Non-refundable $100 deposit is due upon registration. To register, call WSW at (845) 658-9133.
Cheyenne Mallo graduated with a BFA in printmaking and ceramics from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls in 2010. Since relocating to the Hudson Valley in 2011, she has continued her studio practice making functional ceramics and continues exploring the Catskill Mountains that inspire her work.
