Sarah Nicholls

Sarah Nicholls is an artist, printmaker, and writer whose work combines language, image, visual narrative, and time in research-based prints and books. Since 2010, she has published a series of handmade, letterpress printed informational pamphlets, which focus on topics such as climate change, urban ecology, and the history of science and technology. She teaches printmaking and books arts at Pratt Institute, Parsons School of Design, and the University of the Arts. Her work has received support from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, the Brooklyn Arts Council, and the Puffin Foundation. She lives and works in Brooklyn.
