Marian Schoettle’s main creative focus is Mau Conceptual Clothing, run from her studio in Kingston, NY. At WSW, Marian and Kate Hamilton, Ora Schneider artists-in-residence, focused on creating handmade paper pieces that became part of a local history-based installation/performance in the Century House Historical Society’s Widow Jane Mine. The pieces reference mining and the 20th century document storage business.
