Laura Berman
A Barecelona-born artist and printmaker, Laura Berman came to WSW as a studio intern. Since her internship, she has gone on to earn an MFA from Tulane University and to exhibit her site-specific and print work at numerous galleries and museums around the country and internationally. She is currently an Associate Professor of Printmaking at the Kansas City Art Institute and maintains a practice exploring the relationships between abstract forms. In 2014, Laura opened Matfield Outpost, a family-friendly artist retreat in the Flint Hills of Kansas.
